Public Information Leaflet 1.3

Crit

Explained the target audience for my publication is for 17-70 year olds which is a huge audience and people agreed that the tone of voice needs to be serious and concise because drivers don't want to be patronised by teaching them how to drive, the best way is to impact an audience personally to make them aware of potential mistakes. I was pleased with the feedback from my crit because people thought I had a lot of relevant information, however I need to think more about the way the publication will be presented; folding and layout. I suggested my dashboard and steering wheel concept which people thought could be transferred into a circular leaflet as it connotes driving and the position drivers are in behind the wheel. I asked if anyone had any other suggestions for layout or content and people said I should aim to impact the audience personally by using a bikers helmet that's smashed up with the caption like, 'Who's inside the helmet?'. Thinking about the delivery of the leaflet, we thought adding a QR code to the publication allows people to scan it for more specialist information for bike riders and more advice. There are a lot of angles that I want to take and I will use my research to inform my experimentation.
