OUGD603 - Farm - 3 - Initial Designs

Exploring the tramlines created by the machinery working through nature. This informed me to look at the influence humans have on nature. The tramlines are an iconic and tell tail sign that the harvest is coming.

Univers 49 Light Condensed - The narrow structure and vertical lines are reminiscent of these tramlines. Here I have used the 'U' character and rotated it to match the end points and create a flowing line.

Drew out the tramlines using the pen tool - 

Reminiscient of Lance Wyman's Mexico Olympics identity:

Exploring the double line contours created by the two tyres. 

The contours are reminiscent of Art Nouveau typefaces
Could create a typeface from the double line - Demonstrating how farm machinery stresses function.
