Cropped the characters inspired by David Wolske's typographic compositions:
Bad at Maths pt 2:
Homograph No. 2:
Wolske manually crops typography through manual printing processes. This abstracts the type. Wolske's work is appropriated for an exhibition context.
U and V:
Created compositions based on repetition and rotation:
Rotating and linking the U to create a repeat pattern. The composition below resembles corrugated metal. The bold shapes will transfer well through screen print.
Ed's composition takes advantage of screen prints ability to print small point type:
Although the quality of print wasn't bang we still intend to use them as they are still part of our process.
This was a really useful process that allowed us to fill blank pages
