OUGD503 - Responsive - Collaborative Practice - Posters

The high quality scans allowed the images to be enlarged without losing quality. The illustrations are high impact due to the bold shape and colour to which we applied full bleed so me and Sammy explored how we could apply the type without obtruding on the image. This is where my skills in composition and aesthetics came into play. For the posters, I recommended removing the glossary because they are unique to the cards. Instead, I proposed simply adding the branding so that the focus was on the artistic illustrations. To justify this, I explained how a lot of people who buy high quality, artistic posters from the gift shop often frame the artwork, therefor the descriptions aren't required. Whilst some members of the group agreed, the overall consensus was that the posters should include the quotes because they're educational.
