Conductor tapping:
Used a wooden stick and plastic handle of a paint brush to create the sound of the conductor tapping. The pitch and tone of the sound was accurate to the actual sound.
Crowd:
Went into the university canteen and recorded the mumbling - I made sure I positioned myself away from people to avoid picking up clear words.
Scribble:
Scribbled on a piece of paper using quick and slow movements to replicate someones signature. Found that the sound was so quiet that it might not be loud enough from the recording, therefor I referred back to our original idea and ripped paper.
Tuning up: Sourced online
Final scene: Applause
Tom sourced this video for free online - Sharing the work load and being proactive.
I sent the recordings to Tom to add to the video. He said that he could potentially edit the sounds so that they're louder if needs be. For the sounds that don't make the cut, we can source them online for free.
