OUGD603 - Branding and Identity - Ideal Physio - Website

Having established the logo and visual style, we moved onto creating the website.

Homepage shows the logo interacting with the image. This unites the brand with the disciplines of physiotherapy such as sport, movement and wellness.






Further communicates movement which is key to representing a physiotherapist.

We like how the logo interacts with the image, therefore we intend to create short animation assets that we can apply to the website:

As Ste has a good AfterEffects skill set, we decided to share the workload by using myself to cut out the figures from backgrounds and then Ste will animate the logo in. This method allows us to take advantage of working collaboratively by getting more done in a short amount of time.

I sourced some sporting imagery from free online sources and began cutting out the figures. I made sure that the images were appropriate for a commercial context. To achieve this I used Pexels as they offer high quality images royalty free. This shows professional and commercial awareness.

Searched for sporting images that would appeal to the people of Leeds. Made sure I considered by male and female:

Popular sport in Yorkshire - Highlighted by Leeds being the start of the Tour de France.

Popular sport and would appeal to people prone to injury.

The background eraser tool was really useful however I had to resort to the Polygon Lasso Tool for the finer details:

Our research into common physiotherapy treatments allowed us to present common problems that are easily recognised by the user without the jargon.


About the Chief Director. To add more personality to the brand we felt it would be important to include a section about the founder to give visitors confidence in the people treating them.
